Ms. Robertson's period 4 class of Sacred Hearts Academy worked hard to make this site for you! We really enjoy learning in this class, so I hope you find the information on this site useful and easily assessable.- By Taylor Lau
Over the course of this project, we have all learned very much. Not only about plate tectonics, volcanoes, and earthquakes, but also about working together and responsibility. We each had our own responsibilities for the website that had specific due dates. This taught us to be responsible because the overall success of the website depended on our assignments. We had to work together to put out our best effort in our assignments. This made the website the best it could be.
Today we are working for the final day. We are working on our final tab, earthquakes. We learned a lot while doing this project and we hope that you can learn a lot from it to! Thanks for visiting our site!
Every time an Earthquake strikes it affects someones life. Last year, a huge tragedy hit Japan. They a had a huge earthquake and it killed many people. Following that earthquake was a deadly tsunami that wiped out many parts of Japan. After the tsunami many people were stranded at Tokyo City Hall. According to "The Telegraph" they described the scene as something that looked like the Titanic. This affects people because it was such a tragedy and now people are more prepared when an earthquake strikes.
It takes alot of information, dedication, hard work and much more to make a scientist successful. While we are striving to be the scientist we dream to become, we aso need suggestions from others. Even though your comments add to the things we have to do to get to that "professional" level, being an all girls school, we need to see different points of views. Comments are gladly accepted. Check out our blog often!
